      Fire or ice inc., is NOT a reputable company. We had a fireplace installed by them, sold to us by ******** ******. We were guaranteed a WETT slip which we never received, until 5 years later, when we were notified by our insurance that we needed the slip. We contacted Fire or Ice inc. The new owner said that he was ********* brother, and that ******** was a great salesman and that his workers could not be trusted with the work they did. So the new owner of Fire or Ice Inc. had arrived with no tools, told us that whoever installed the equipment did it wrong. Then we made the corrections, and called them for a chimney sweep a month later. The contractor did his chimney sweep, in about 10 mins and then left. A month or so later the chimney is plugged up again this time at the chimney cap, where the contractor had pushed all the carbon buildup into. The chimney is leaking inside now, smoke filling the cabin. What kind of company that deals with hazardous/dangerous equipment doesn’t ensure that the equipment is safe to use after their service is completed. Very disappointed, and upset. Not sure what to expect from this company, when dealing with them. Very unprofessional, and unsafe.
