I went to this salon to get my nails done with a family member. When the family member I came with went to pay- the employee cashing her out told her the debit machine was not working and it was cash only. When I went to pay, I expressed that the employee who did my nails had cut me and burned me with the electric file and they need to be more careful. I went to pay and the employee told me the debit machine may not work and that I need cash. I expressed I had cash in my car. Three of them then blocked the door and locked me in, ********** detaining me within their store. I expressed this was ******** I offered to leave my wallet and credit cards. They said no I had to leave all of my belongings in the store. I reached for the lock and was pushed away and has hands out on me as I was trying to exit because I was being detained. This happened at approximately 4:30pm on July 7th 2022. I called the police and as I was on the phone with the dispatcher, they presented the debit machine again all of a sudden I'm working condition. I paid $119.78 when myself and the family member I came with were both told $106 for my bill total bill. I paid using debit and awaited the arrival of the police. I explained to the two officers what happened and they told me they cautioned them and encouraged me to file complaints and leave reviews about this salon.
