On Tuesday February 28, 2023 Kildonan Tree Service Ltd was removing a large tree on city property adjacent to my address being *** ******** ***. A crew member rang the door bell and asked if I would move my truck as a precaution as they were taking down a large tree. I moved the truck and within the hour my driveway was filled with a truck and a small skid steer loader. **** ** *********** * **** * *** **** **. I was never asked if they could use my property. I expressed my concerns to another crew member but nothing was done, ** ** ******** **** ******* **** ****** ** ******* *** ********** *** ******* **** **** *** *** ***** Minimally I am owed an apology and the steps being taken by management to ensure this does not happen again.

Hello Terence, Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. We did appreciate you moving your vehicle for us, and I do agree our crews should have certainly obtained your permission to use your driveway to better access the tree. Using personal property without permission is certainly not our common practice or policy, but instead a lack of transparency and better judgement on our part. Management will be speaking to the team to take steps to ensure this type of circumstance does not happen in the future. The situation was indeed avoidable, and I apologize for the inconvenience.
