      In November 2024, 2 Mike’s Tree Service was hired to trim a hedge in my yard. The quote was for $2047.50. The workers showed up and did the job. But in the course of the job, my garage door was dented (caught on video). When this was mentioned to the owner, he told me just to hold off paying until we sorted out the damage. A couple weeks later he asked me for half of the owing so that he could pay his staff to which I paid half. I continued to get him to try to fix the garage door and asked me to have somebody come out to give me a quote. Since the garage door was only a couple months old at that point called our installer who gave me a quote of $1300 to replace both panels that were damaged as the dents cannot be popped out because it’san insulated door. **** continued to say that he has somebody who can pop out the dance and wanted me to work with him to allow this guy totry to pop out the dent. **** never showed up. He continued to make appointments to come to my house with this guy to try to pop out the dents, but he never showed up. In December, I finished paying my invoice in full because I didn’t want his staff members to be without and am I am legally on the hook to pay for the entire job that was done. I asked for a receipt, I still have not a receipt of payment and my damage to my door has still not been fixed. I have Texted and called and no one has gotten back to me. This is unacceptable and I want a response from the owner and for him to rectify the damage they caused. During this entire time I communicated with him via text and **** would always call me because he wanted to deal with it over the phone and I explained to him that I would not talk to him on the phone and that I wanted a paper trail of the conversation. I still have the paper trail.
