      On Feb. 26, 2025 I dropped off my queen size down duvet. Pick up date was Mar. 5. On Mar 5, I went to pick up my duvet. I was advised that the duvet was not yet back in, & to come back later. I returned Mar 15 and was told they were not able to locate it. I was told I would get a pick up call. Mar 19 I called again & was told they are still looking for it same response to my calls on Mar 20, Mar 24. Today, I called & was told they still did not have it and are looking for it still. I told them that I wanted them to pay for it or replace it. I was advised to contact the owner by email. I did this right away Mar 24. I explained the situation as described above, & requested a replacement or the money to replace it ($214). I got no reply. I called again today to the business, & was told that someone else besides me picked it up. That they have tried to call me several times. I told them no calls have been made to my phone, and nobody else would be picking my item up. I told them I have the receipt. They said someone just needs to give the phone number or receipt number and can pick it up. I explained that is outrageous, they can loose someones belongings & then claim someone picked it up to avoid responsibility for loosing it. They said my duvet picked up by a man for a business. I told them that I dont have a business, its just for me as my own duvet.I said they gave my personal belongings away, and they are responsible to reimburse me. The lady said that the item is used, and not worth the brand new price. She offered a store credit, which is completely unacceptable since I no longer would ever return to their business. I further would still have to replace the duvet they lost at a cost to me due to their negligence. I simply want them to replace my duvet. Their excuses and denial of responsibility is infuriating. They couldn't find it up to yesterday and now magically its not their issue since they claim someone else picked it up?
