    I signed up to use Clio software for business. The sales *** who sold me the product advised that certain features would made available to me when I purchased the software. The Clio Manage software does not include all the features as advertised and is misleading. For example, the only way to use e-signature is through a ******* account. That was not explained prior to purchase. I learned other interesting things after I signed up for Clio Software such as how there are certain things the software will not do unless it is done with Clio Payments. This means that you have to use Clio Payments for certain tasks depending on how you want to bill customers and receive payments. Moreover, ********************** had me purchase the Clio Accounting software in order to test it out. Clio does not offer a free trial of their Clio Accounting software. I was only able to get a sense of if their accounting software would work for me by blindly purchasing the product. Clio Accounting software does not work well with other products either as advertised. Clios software advertising is misleading and the company has refused to issue a complete refund to me and close my account despite the truth of my concerns about Clios company and software issues. Again, I request a full refund if the amount to paid for this software, which does not function as advertised.

    I canceled Clio Grow on June 18, 2024 via video meeting with ****** Troll. ****** stated that Clio Grow would not do what her colleague ***** ******** stated it could. However, Clio kept billing me past this date. This is unethical and unprofessional. Im absolutely disgusted. I've been told that a person would call me to correct this issue more than once and I have never received a call.The full amount that needs to be refunded is $494.82. Math is as follows: I pay $57.57 a month for Clio Manage. I was billed for Clio Grow despite being told by your representative in June 2024 that it would be refunded from June to September. I paid $223.49 on May 31st; $116.22 in June through September, and then $94.30 in October. Please refund a total of $494.82 immediately. It is my belief that you hope I will just move on and let you keep the money that you have not earned. I will not move on without this matter being properly resolved.

    We accidentally purchased another license, and we immediately canceled. ********************** charged our credit card anyway, and we did not realize it until we reconciled our QBS a month later. We called and asked for an adjustment, and we were told it was impossible because it had been more than the amount. I explained that we went on the website and called, and on the website, did it tell you that you are supposed to call them as well? It has been inactive since the day it was called, and they still charged us, and now they are refusing to give us the money back. We asked for the manager, and we were also denied the opportunity to talk to one representative who said they were all in a meeting.

    Clio will not cancel my subscription. I've made multiple requests through multiple channels. My subscription continues. The payment is due for the next month soon, and I do not want the service any more.

    The complainant was a monthly subscriber to business to business subscription software services. 

    Our terms of service require cancellations to be done via a specific published link. This is done to protect subscribers from malicious or accidental account deletions. In that same section of the terms of service. we mention that a phone call may be required to verify identity. The complainant had agreed to these terms when opening their account. 

    Complainant reached out on May 23 via our support chat asking that her account be cancelled. Our agents properly responded that we cannot cancel accounts over chat due to security concerns. The agent offered to arrange a phone call to proceed with account cancellation. 

    When the complainant refused to speak with a support agent over the phone, our support agent arranged for an email communication to help continue processing the cancellation request. 

    On May 28, following the weekend and the Memorial Day national holiday, a support agent emailed the complainant and proceeded with cancelling the account. This cancellation was processed quickly that same day. No additional monthly charges were accrued. The complainant had access to their account through their paid monthly period. 

    Despite refusing to following the agreed cancellation process, the complaint was still able to cancel their account, avoid additional charges, and have their request handled professionally within 5 week days / 3 business days.

    Deeply disappointed switching to Clio Payments my trust account is charged service fees after switching from *******. Issue after issue.
