This past January K&J was contracted to install Quartz counters in our Kitchen and main floor bathroom. We choose K&J because of online reviews and methods used to template, primarily the used of laser level, cnc software to digitally layout and precision cut the Quartz. There was an issue with the software used but K&J told "this is not be a problem" but the day of installation it was immediately evident the counters were not square as K&J had cut all the drywall and vapor barrier on the perimeter of the Quartz, no permission to do so. K&J was not able to complete the installation as the final section had to be reworked at their shop. Once completed there were numerous concerns with the quality of final installation. **** the owner of K&J agreed the only path forward (he refused to repair the software) was for the counters be removed and full refund issued. It was agreed that the vanity in the bathroon would be left as compensation for the drywall damage. The kitchen counters have been removed but we have yet to receive our refund, we have been patient to allow **** time but it has been 1 month now.
