We are a small 3-person roofing/siding business that had come across Jobber while outsourcing some work. We held intro calls with their salesperson, submitted all the required information (e.g., company name, doing business as (DBA) name, EIN#, etc.) and had begun a trial with them. We sent out our first invoice for $3,050 to a customer and the customer paid the invoice. ********************** then abruptly closed our account via email notification from their risk department. Nobody will speak with us over the phone with an explanation as to why our account was closed. Further, the $3,050 is now being sent back to the customer during the next 5-10 business days. This is absolutely ridiculous and we want our account reinstated immediately.

Literally the SAME complaint as the UNRESOLVED user on 04/11/21. Jobber decided that it's ok to integrate Stripe into their platform, take the fees, "handle" disputes on customers. I don't think they have EVER won a successful dispute as evidenced by the LAST complaint. This is clearly an ongoing problem and will be addressed. Furthermore, their terms indemnify them, which makes them sanctioned thieves. We will be reaching out the the government of Canada, FINRA, SEC and the FBI Financial Crimes division. We don't think you should be allowed to process credit cards through Jobber Pay and should be FORCED by way of court order to use a 3rd party payment processor. Since, they have indemnified themselves legally through their terms, we will be approaching the authorities to seek resolution. You should be consider financial criminals. They won't prove that they provided dispute evidence and therefore likely didn't and are stealing your money.

When I first made the call about Jobber I had multiple people that sold me on the product and insisted I try the Core plan. They stated I’d have a one on one point of contact and personal training and help setting everything up. I never received any contact and chatted in to ask a question about payments. Their knowledgebase articles regarding the verification period and the so-called “instant payouts” feature is incomplete or inconsistent. It does look like the updated the verification article. I had a chat agent lie to me about when I was receiving a payout. All of this is not only frustrating, but it definitely caused a disruption in cash flow and they don’t seem willing to credit my account for the inconvenience. I’ve not had a good impression of Jobber whatsoever and am waiting on them to make this right. As I stated to a manager, I feel treated like just another account. I believe a credit is more than fair considering the amount of time wasted and the lack of having a one on one contact to work with. I see potential with Jobber but I’m not appealed to the customer service and resolution processes.

I signed up for Jobber in July 13, 2021 shortly after starting my lawn care business. I initially signed up for the monthly billing which was $111.20 per month, which I continued to pay through September 13, 2021. On September 21, 2021, I made the decision to switch to the annual service and paid $1,188 which covered me through September 21, 2022 as well as the prorated amount from September 13, 2021 to my upgrade on September 21, 2022. On March 15, 2022, a representative from the company spoke to me about upgrading to the next plan up at which time I decided to give it a try and was charged $1,117.67 for the upgrade. I realized shortly into it that it wasn't beneficial and contacted the company on April 13, 2022 at which time I downgraded back to my initial plan. Instead of giving me a refund for the additional amount I had paid for the upgrade (to cover me through September 21, 2022, just a month prior, they charged me an additional $471.97 at that time. When I called and questioned it (as well as the math which made NO sense when compared to the cost of the plans) they advised me a credit had been applied to my account. On September 19, 2022, after closing my business, I contacted the company and advised them that I wanted to cancel my account. When I asked about a refund for the overpayment they said that I wasn't entitled to a refund and that it could only be used as a credit if I return to the service at a later time. While the service itself was great, this company is very unethical when it comes to their accounting, sales, and business practices. I would caution others who are thinking about using Jobber as you may end up losing out on hundreds or thousands of dollars. In my case, the individuals I spoke to acted like they didn't understand basic math and that I wasn't entitled to my own money. I disagree and have filed this complaint with the intention of recouping the money they took from me before pursuing other avenues. Sincerely, ****** ************
