      Roof Replacement. We hired West Pointe Building Services to replace our flat roof back in **** 2022. While the scope of our flat roof replacement project was relatively modest in scale, we have encountered significant challenges and delays throughout its course. One notable issue we faced was the frequent turnover of personnel from West Pointe on our project site, even extending into the year 2023. This turnover disrupted the continuity of the project and led to operational inefficiencies.The project has caused some damage to ************ building due to roof leaks, a situation we had hoped to avoid. Unfortunately, the roof replacement was not completed before the onset of winter in 2022, prompting us to reschedule the remaining work for the spring of 2023.In mid August 2023, we received correspondence from legal counsel along with a construction lien, as it came to our attention that West Pointe had not fulfilled their financial obligations to the supplier. This development raised concerns and prompted immediate inquiries into the status of the project.Regrettably, our attempts to seek clarification and resolution from West Pointe have been met with limited success. Despite verbal assurances that they were addressing the matter and would respond promptly, we have yet to receive any substantive updates or concrete answers. At present, approximately **% of the roof replacement work has been completed. However, we are still awaiting the installation of downspouts and ****** boxes.Despite our best efforts, GHSD and our consultants have encountered persistent challenges in establishing communication with West Pointe, both throughout the project's duration and, more alarmingly, in recent weeks. The lack of responsiveness from West Pointe has become increasingly concerning.As of today, September **, 2023, we find ourselves in a situation where the project is still not ***% complete, and the outstanding issues surrounding the construction lien remain unresolved.
